1. Safari Pricing

1.1. Price Inclusions

The cost of your safari typically includes:

• Accommodation as specified in the itinerary (luxury, midrange, or budget options).
• Meals as specified (full board, half board, or bed & breakfast).
• Park entry fees and permits (including gorilla and chimpanzee permits if applicable).
• Ground transportation in a 4x4 safari vehicle with an experienced driver-guide.
• Bottled drinking water during activities and transfers.
• Scheduled activities as mentioned in the itinerary.
• Government taxes and levies.

1.2. Price Exclusions

The cost of your safari does not include:

• International and domestic flights.
• Visas and travel insurance.
• Alcoholic beverages and personal expenses (e.g., laundry, tips, phone calls).
• Optional activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
• Expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances such as delays, natural disasters, or health emergencies.

1.3. Gorilla and Chimpanzee Permits

• Gorilla permits in Uganda: $800 per person.
• Gorilla permits in Rwanda: $1,500 per person.
• Chimpanzee permits vary by location and availability.
• Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable as per the respective park authority regulations.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Deposit Requirements

• A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking.
• Gorilla and chimpanzee permits must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure availability.

2.2. Balance Payment

• The remaining balance is due at least 45 days before the safari start date.
• For last-minute bookings (made within 45 days of departure), full payment is required upon confirmation.

2.3. Accepted Payment Methods

• Bank transfer (details provided upon request).
• Credit or debit card payments (subject to a 3% processing fee).
• Mobile payment platforms (where applicable).

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the following terms:

• More than 60 days before the safari: 80% refund of the deposit.
• 30–59 days before the safari: 50% refund of the total cost.
• Less than 30 days before the safari: No refund.

3.2. Non-Refundable Items

• Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Any expenses incurred for third-party bookings such as flights and hotel reservations.

4. Group Discounts and Special Offers

• Discounts are available for groups of six or more.
• Ripple Safaris occasionally offers promotional packages and special rates. Contact us for details on current offers.

5. Currency and Exchange Rates

• All prices are quoted in USD.
• Payments made in other currencies will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate.
• Ripple Safaris is not responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange rates.

6. Receipts and Invoices

• Ripple Safaris will issue an official receipt for all payments received.
• Detailed invoices can be provided upon request.
