Upon arrival at your lodge near the park, you will have time to relax and enjoy the serene environment. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari – the exhilarating gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. You will learn about the rules and guidelines for the trek, as well as some fascinating insights into the mountain gorillas and their behavior.
Once you are assigned to a gorilla family, the trek begins. Depending on the location of the gorillas, the hike can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. Day 3: Visit to Dian Fossey Tomb and Transfer Back to Kigali
