After an early breakfast, leave Entebbe and travel north toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This private drive takes you through Uganda's countryside, with views of villages, farmland, trading centers, and local communities along the way.

At Ziwa, you will join an experienced ranger for a guided rhino tracking experience. The sanctuary protects southern white rhinos and offers visitors the rare opportunity to observe these impressive animals on foot in a protected natural setting.

After the experience, continue toward Murchison Falls National Park. After lunch, proceed into the park and visit the Top of Murchison Falls. From the viewpoint, you can see the mighty Nile forced through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging downstream. The spray, thunderous sound, and powerful flow create one of the most dramatic scenes in Uganda.

Later, continue to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for a morning game drive. The early hours offer some of the best conditions for wildlife viewing as animals become active before the heat of the day.

Your private safari vehicle will explore the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. Keep watch for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, giraffes, hartebeests, antelopes, and, with good fortune, lions and leopards. The park is one of Uganda's leading wildlife destinations and is particularly known for its large savannah landscapes.

After lunch and some rest, head to the Victoria Nile for an afternoon boat cruise toward the bottom of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, you can see large pods of hippos, crocodiles resting along the shoreline, elephants approaching the water, buffaloes, and numerous water birds.

The boat moves toward the base of the falls, where the Nile crashes through the narrow gorge. This gives you a spectacular view of Murchison Falls from the water.

After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls and begin the scenic journey south toward Kibale Forest National Park. This is one of the longer driving days, but the changing scenery makes the journey rewarding.

The route takes you through rural Uganda, local communities, farmland, and rolling landscapes. As you move toward Kibale, the scenery gradually changes from open savannah to greener vegetation and forested surroundings.

Arrive near Kibale Forest later in the day and check into your luxury accommodation. You can relax and prepare for the following morning's chimpanzee trekking adventure.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Kibale Forest National Park for your chimpanzee trekking briefing. Kibale is famous for its exceptional primate diversity and is one of the best places in Africa to encounter wild chimpanzees.

Your ranger will lead you into the forest in search of a habituated chimpanzee community. The trek can take several hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located. Along the trail, you may also encounter monkeys, forest birds, butterflies, and other fascinating wildlife.

After returning from the forest, enjoy lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi area for a guided nature and community experience. The wetlands and surrounding communities offer a different perspective of life around Kibale Forest.

You can expect encounters with local people, birdlife, primates, traditional activities, and community-led conservation initiatives.

Set out across the northern savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park to search for lions, leopards, and Uganda kobs. In the afternoon, board a private boat launch for a cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering close-up photography of hippos and crocodiles. Prepare for an exhilarating Big Five game drive across the savannah of Queen Elizabeth NP in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. Start the day with an early breakfast before heading into the park for a morning game drive. The Kasenyi Plains are particularly rewarding for wildlife viewing, with open grasslands providing excellent opportunities to spot Uganda kobs, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and antelopes.

Your guide will carefully scan the plains for predators. Lions are among the major attractions, while leopards can sometimes be spotted with patience and good luck.

After lunch, head to the Kazinga Channel for one of Uganda's most enjoyable wildlife boat cruises. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and attracts huge numbers of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and birds.

The boat gives you a close view of wildlife gathering along the water. It is also an excellent opportunity for photography and bird watching.

After breakfast, leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey takes you into southwestern Uganda, where the landscapes become increasingly mountainous and green.

Depending on the chosen gorilla trekking sector, your guide will plan the most suitable route to your lodge. You will pass through local communities and scenic highland areas before reaching the forest.

On arrival, check into Gorilla Leisure Lodge and relax. Your guide will brief you about the next day's gorilla trek, including what to pack, how the trek works, and the importance of following the ranger's instructions.

Get an early night because the following morning brings the most anticipated experience of your Uganda safari.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. The ranger guides will explain forest rules, safety procedures, and responsible gorilla viewing practices before you enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The trek can take several hours because the gorilla families move freely through the forest. Your guide and trackers will follow their movements and lead you through dense vegetation, steep sections, and forest trails.

When you find the gorilla family, you will have a precious opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. Watch how they feed, rest, groom, play, and interact with one another. This close encounter is often the emotional highlight of a Uganda Gorilla Safari.

After trekking, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. Later, enjoy a Batwa community experience where you can learn about the traditional forest heritage of one of the oldest indigenous communities in the region. The experience offers insight into traditional knowledge, music, storytelling, and the historical relationship between the Batwa people and the forest.

After breakfast, transfer to the appropriate nearby airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe. The flight provides a comfortable alternative to the long road journey from southwestern Uganda.

On arrival in Entebbe, your Ripple Safaris team will assist you with your airport transfer and onward connection. Depending on your international flight schedule, you may have time for a meal or a short rest before checking in for your flight Home.
